Frequently Asked Questions
Read below about some common questions our clients tend to have.
-
What does the video production process involve? While no two projects are the same, there are generally three phases: Pre-production: We learn about your business and define the objectives of your video, including target audience, where the videos will be published, and the key messaging. This will feed into the creation of a storyboard/script, and we can then agree budgets and filming dates. Production: We’ll capture all the footage we need, including interviews and demonstrations as necessary, and we’re happy to travel to film from any location in Ireland. If you want us to film from your premises, all you need to do is provide us with a quiet, bright area, ideally including some of your corporate branding. Post-production: We edit the footage into a compelling narrative, and add music, graphics and titles as required. You then get the chance to review our drafts and give feedback as we refine the finished version.

Do you film anywhere in Ireland?Yes. We’re happy to travel to your business premises and locations anywhere in Ireland.
-
How do you work in terms of graphics, music and voiceovers? We provide it all. That includes any motion graphics, from animated logos to full infographics; background music from our library of royalty-free tracks (with licence); and voiceovers from your choice of a range of regular voiceover artists we use.
-
What equipment do you use?We use 4K broadcast-quality cameras for every video we create, accompanied by radio microphones, green screens and lighting kit as required. As the standards of technology improve so rapidly in this industry, we invest in new equipment continuously.
-
Can videos be subtitled?Yes, they can, and you have two choices. Subtitles can be added to the video directly, or as part of a separate file uploaded with the video to YouTube, allowing viewers to turn the subtitles on and off. Foreign-language subtitles can also be produced: please enquire for your specific language needs.
-
What formats do the videos come in?We normally provide finished videos in .mp4 or .mov, but we can deliver it in more or less any other major format for no extra charge. We’re also able to format videos for social media use, such as for Instagram (1080 x 1080), Instagram Stories (1080 x 1920) and normal 1920 x 1080 for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. We can also produce videos in 4K (3840 x 2160).
